The Rug is neighbourhood café in Maida Hill, that  brings together all-day brunch with laidback asian dishes, and a welcoming coffeehouse experience.

A Little History

Our calm cafe´ used to be one of West London's liveliest music venues. In the 1960s, when it was known as the Windsor Castle, it hosted early gigs by The Rolling Stones and U2.

Then one day, the doors closed — and for fifteen years, it fell silent.

We moved in with a vision to bring back to life. To turn a forgotten pub into a place for the community once again. 

From pub to peace — a little oasis on Harrow Road.
